  Earlier this year, we facilitated a conversation between a prospective student and a Babson College entrepreneurship student. In just a short chat, the prospective student gained invaluable insights that profoundly influenced his application journey. Both students shared a passion for entrepreneurship, underscoring Babson's reputation as one of the country's premier programs. As they discussed Babson's dynamic curriculum and the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem it fosters, the prospective student gained a deeper understanding of what sets Babson apart. The conversation didn't just end there. They delved into the importance of mentorship, networking, and community support in the entrepreneurial realm. Excited with newfound knowledge and inspiration, the prospective student left the conversation with a clearer vision for his future and a strengthened application to Babson College. Engaging with current students allows you to ask very tailored and specific questions about campus resources, extracurricular opportunities, and academic programs. 3. Hearing about a student's personal experiences and challenges at the college can give you a realistic perspective on what to expect if you choose to attend. • Gyde Origins

  Imagine us, just a group of friends scattered across different college campuses, each with our own slice of college life. We'd catch up over video calls or whenever we were back home for the holidays, swapping stories about our college experiences – the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Little did we know, those casual conversations would plant the seeds for what would become College Gyde. As my friends and I reminisced about our college experiences, the conversation often circled back to the daunting task of choosing the right school. We all shared a similar frustration: every college tour sounded identical, with each institution boasting about its "tight-knit community and over 200 clubs." And so, fueled by our shared frustration and a desire to bridge the gap between expectation and reality, College Gyde was born. No longer satisfied with the superficial narratives presented during campus tours, we set out to provide aspiring students with authentic insights into college life – straight from the source. Below you can see a skit we made as a part of our submission video to the pitch competition our senior year.
